2001 (Sophomore):
Started 25 matches at the middle hitter position...put up a great performance against her former teammates at Washington State (11/30) with eith kills, 13 digs, three blocks and a .727 hitting percentage in their NCAA first round matchup...also played well in the Banker's Classic, tallying eight kills, nine digs and seven blcoks (including four block solos) against Utah (11/23) and 10 kills, 12 digs and a .667 hitting percentage at Pacific (11/24)...she fell just short of a triple-double against Nevada on Oct. 27 (eight kills, eight digs and nine blocks) and against San Jose State on Nov. 8 (eight kills, seven digs and seven blocks)...finished the season with 1.61 kpg, 1.59 dpg, 0.94 bpg and a team-best .352 hitting percentage.

College:
Played one season at Washington State as a backup middle blocker and outside hitter...played in 12 games, amassing four kills, 15 digs, three assists, one ace and four blocks.

Prep:
A 2000 graduate of Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu...earned four varsity letters under coach Dan Kitashima...her team won both the ILH and state championships from 1998-2000, including a vball.com No. 1 national ranking at the end of her senior year...named all-ILH and all-state three times...also competed in track for coach Pete Medertzma during her sophomore and senior years...played club volleyball for Asics Rainbow, which was headed by Dave Shoji.

Born Nohealani Robin Peterson Tano on Sept. 26, 1982, in Honolulu...recruited out of high school by UNLV, Colorado and Hawai`i...intends to major in psychology...enjoys playing basketball and going to the beach...favorites include NBA star Allen Iverson, the color orange, Hawaiian food, the movie "Sixteen Candles" and actress Drew Barrymore...has an infant son, Koby...has five older brothers, Ken Jr., Dustin, Kimo, Erik and Kawika, and one sister, Kiana...parents are Candy and Ken Tano of Kailua, Oahu.
