1998 (Junior): Named all-WAC second team after switching to the left-side hitter position…also selected to WAC all-tournament team…had 49 kills and 34 digs in WAC tourney…led team with a 2.67 digs per game average…pounded down 21 kills and had 15 digs and six blocks in UH's win over BYU (11/28) in WAC Tournament title match…career-high 22 kills in win over San Diego (10/19)…recorded 11 double-double matches in kills and digs…had 18 kills and 10 digs vs. Arizona State (9/12)…slammed 18 kills and had career-best 19 digs at Fresno State (11/21)…finished second on the team in service aces (36)…named to Aston's Imua Wahine Volleyball Challenge all-tournament team.

1997 (Sophomore): Emerged as the team's starting right-side hitter…appeared in 31 matches, hit .264 and averaged 1.61 kills per game…recorded seven double-figure kill matches and eight double-figure dig matches…posted four double-double performances in kills and digs…had an impressive match against North Carolina (9/5) when she hit .609 (17-3-23) and tallied 13 digs…played superbly at UNLV (11/2) where she put down 11 kills, hit .588, racked up nine digs and had six blocks…tied for the team lead with Jessica Sudduth, posting 26 service aces.

1996 (Freshman): Participated in 97 games in all 38 matches…used primarily in the backrow, but played briefly at the left-side position…gained experience and showed good hitting and digging skills as a freshman…developed a good jump serve, which accounted for her 14 aces…had double-figures in digs three times…had good hitting nights against Santa Clara, hitting .400 with eight kills in 15 attempts, and Air Force, hitting .500 with six kills in eight attempts…played in all 16 WAC matches hitting .213 overall with 37 kills, five aces and 64 digs.

Prep: A 1996 graduate of Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance, Calif...a four-year letterwinner in volleyball and also lettered two years in basketball...a first team all-Del Rey League selection for three years...named to the first team all-CIF in both her junior and senior seasons...the league's Most Valuable Player twice...twice named Player-of-the-Week by the Torrance Cable Co. and the Daily Breeze...a Junior Olympic gold medalist in 1993...a member of the 1994 Division II CIF champions...while playing on the NIKE Ichiban Volleyball Club with fellow Wahine teammate Heather Bown, she was selected as a first team All-American.

Personal: Born Heidi Lynn Lim Ilustre on Dec. 12, 1977, in Harbor City, Calif...enjoys going out with friends and playing beach volleyball...literature is her favorite subject...other favorites include Michael Jordan, purple, Filipino food, and the movie "Grease"...biggest athletic thrills were winning the CIF and a gold medal at the Junior Olympics...has an older brother, Harbell, and a younger sister, Hedder...parents are Erlinda and Hermie Ilustre of Carson, Calif.
