UNLV: Justine Kamelamela of Waimalu, a 6-foot first-team All-Interscholastic League of Honolulu outside hitter for Maryknoll last fall, signed a scholarship agreement with coach Dietre Collins. She joins Erica Enfield (Kamehameha '96) on the Rebels' roster. Collins scouted Kamelamela in regional play with the Asics Rainbows and said, "Justine has been taught very well. She should come in and compete right away for a position."

Southern Oregon: Malika Miller (St. Anthony) of Pukalani, Maui, signed as a defensive specialist. She also plays tennis.

San Jose State: Marjorie Nepo a two-sport all-stater from McKinley, scored 30 points short of the required 900 on her SAT and will not enroll in the fall. She plans to take the test again in October and try for a mid-year matriculation, a spokeswoman said.
