1996: Put the ball down with authority but needs more consistency, according to the coaching staff…began the season playing very well during the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Classic before tapering off…the latter part of the season, she was mainly used in the backrow…played in 12 WAC matches with her biggest league match coming against Utah on Nov. 1, when she pounded down 10 kills and had four digs.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 1996 honors graduate of Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu...earned three letters in both volleyball and basketball and two in paddling...a honorable mention All-State pick following her sophomore season...earned second team All-State as a junior and first team All-State as a senior...as a junior, was a first team All-ILH selection and a second team pick as a senior...played on the 1993 state championship basketball team...led her volleyball squad to back-to-back state titles in 1995 and 1996.

Kamakealoha Lee...born March 11, 1978, in Honolulu...biggest athletic thrill was beating Team Mizuno in the National Tournament...favorites are pizza, blue, math, and Audrey Hepburn...has aspirations of becoming an architect...enjoys surfing in her spare time...has two brothers, Adam and Linden, and one sister, Hala...daughter of Ingrid and Gerald Lee of Honolulu.
