1996: Started all 38 matches…first-team All-WAC selection…was the Most Valuable Player in the Mountain Regional…recorded double-figures in kills in 23 matches, including eight of the last nine…named to the Aston Imua Wahine Volleyball Challenge all-tournament team…has surpassed her season-high blocking totals from her freshman and sophomore seasons…had three, 20-kill matches against Cal State Sacramento (Sept. 6), USC (Sept. 26), and Colorado State (Nov. 8)…moved into 10th place overtaking Malin Fransson on the UH all-time kills list with 1,038…hit an outstanding .302 in WAC play in 1996…in 16 WAC matches, she finished 15th in kills per game (3.65) and 16th in hitting (.302)…in overall play among WAC individuals, she ranked 15th in kills per game (3.79) and tied for 18th in hitting (.254)…career-wise, she is 10th all-time in both kills (1,038) and total spike attempts (2,516), while ranked 5th in kills per game (3.56).

1995: One of three named to All-Big West first team...named Most Valuable Player of both the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic and the Aston's Imua Challenge...led the team in kills (410) and kills per game (3.76)...finished third on the team in digs (277) and fourth in blocks (54)...in Big West play, finished ninth in kills per game...had double-figure kills in 24 matches...recorded 20-plus kills in four matches including a career-high 25 at New Mexico State on Oct. 7...dug a career-high 29 balls on Sept. 1 against Texas.

1994: Played in 29 of 30 matches, only match missed was UC Santa Barbara (Nov. 11)...named to the All-Big West Freshman squad...led UH in kills in three matches...had double-figure kills in three games -- 10 (Dec. 9) and 18 (Nov. 2) at Long Beach State, while pounding 19 vs. San Jose State (Oct. 22)...hit .625 at Utah State (Oct. 28) connecting on 6-of-8 attempts with only one error.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 1994 from Portage Northern High School in Portage, Mich...earned four letters in volleyball and two in basketball...a three-time all-state volleyball selection, All-Big Eight Conference three years, and one year conference captain...she was selected as a first-team All-American by the USVBA and the AAU...named to Volleyball Monthly's Fabulous 50 list and Volleyball Magazine's Top 25... a member of the all-state and All-Big Eight Conference honorable mention teams in basketball.

PERSONAL: Full name is Therese Michelle Crawford...born Aug. 8, 1976, in Kalamazoo, Mich...has not declared a major yet but would like to pursue a marketing degree...enjoys singing and dancing in her spare time...biggest athletic accomplishment was winning the state volleyball title three straight years...daughter of Lillian Baker and Derrick Crawford of Portage, Mich.
