The 14th-ranked Rainbow Wahine wrapped up their third straight undefeated conference season with a pair of wins at Tulsa and Rice last weekend. Hawaii closed their second Western Athletic Conference season at 14-0 and improved to 23-5 overall.

On Friday night Hawaii cruised to 15-6, 15-0, 15-8 win over Tulsa. Seniors Therese Crawford and Cecelia Goods each had eight kills, with Goods adding seven blocks. Outside hitters Heidi Illustre, Kelii Cordray and Leah Karratti were nearly unstopable, combining for 11 kills on 13 attempts. The Golden Hurricane, on the other hand, committed 26 errors and managed only a .011 hitting percentage.

Hawaii continued their dominance Saturday with 15-7,15-10,15-5 victory over Rice in Houston. Freshman Jessica Sudduth led the Wahine with 13 kills and sophmore Jenifer Roberts added seven kills and eight blocks. For the match the Wahine outblocked a young Owl squad 17-7. Meanwhile, Therese Crawford's seven kills against Rice catapulted her into fourth place on the all-time Wahine list with a total of 1,418.

Hawaii closes the season next Sunday at third-ranked Stanford in a rematch of last year's NCAA final.
